I'm featuring a 90's-esque mix for you this week. Most, if not all, of these tracks originally came out in the early-mid 90's during the heyday of my club kid youth. Believe it or not, I was a 'baby gay' at one point too you know! LOL.

I was actually listening to this today in the car. I had the convertible top down and took a 3 hour joyride around the city all the while thinking about all of the drama happening in my life now. There just seems to be a lot of downs going on lately. Suffice to say (without boring you with the details), I just need to force myself to turn things around. Thinking about this particular time with my music selection brings back a lot of good memories. It's all about werQing it all out, right?

I'm your typical (beginner) bedroom digital dj. After all of the years of collecting music from the 80's until now, I've decided to put some of my musical knowledge to the test. With the advent of programs like Mixmeister I've been able to play around with something that I've always wanted to do but not have the patience to keep up with in the past. I'm definitely a househead with a special penchant for UK 80's pop. Go figure! This space will hopefully showcase my progress over time as I try to learn the art of mixing music.
